I’ve had emergency medical situations where I’ve been left without transportation. And it’s hard getting any resources at all without transportation. Is there anything anyone knows of? I’m in aurora Colorado

I saw on your response to an old post that u also have trouble getting groceries and medication. Both can be ordered and delivered to ur home.

Try calling Adult Protection Services and see if they can help you with resources. If ur on Medicaid already, maybe you can get an aide who can run these errands for you. There is help out there, u just need to know where to look.

My local Senior Bus asks for 48 hours. Call ur local Office of Aging to see if there are other transportation services.

Does your county social services offer transportation for Medicaid recipients? Or call your local Area Agency on Aging for transportation options.

Recently on my local Nextdoor.com a member of our community got someone to give them a ride to a medical appointment by just going onto that forum and asking (it is an intranet of your actual neighbors and is non-anonymous).

If you are looking for immediate transportation that is not an emergency, this will be a lot trickier... and unrealistic.
