I just want to have the peace of mind to be able to see where my dad is during the day and locate him quickly if necessary because many times he doesn't answer his cell phone because he inadvertently turns down the volume.
Thank you

If he has an iPhone, put in his apple password on findmyiphone.

But beyond this, he’s not independent, any more than the demented elder who walked into our yard and then the neighbors, who called the cops to get him home. Like him, your father is a wanderer who has no idea where he is. Why is he alone?

Thanks for answering my question about the tracking device. The rest of your comments were not necessary since you're assuming a clinical picture based on just a few lines I wrote about my dad. I assume you know that the disease has different stages and levels of severity, so no, he's not a wanderer who has no idea where he is.

If he will wear a watch, you can get him one of those apple watches. They actually replace a cell phone.

Trackers, devices, cameras do have their use. The main drawback being they don't prevent problems.

Obviously I don't know your situation or your Father, his abities & habits but for me, I can't imagine much increase to my peace of mind.. Unless 2 simple check-ins a day are sufficient - maybe 1st thing & end of day.

What is causing you to feel the need to find where he is quickly? Do you mean in his home? Or when he is out & about in his community?
